concerning 2 posts ago... saya ada mengajak y'all memikirkan kenapa kita menyambut Hari Raya Aidil Fitri... kinda a late though, it's already the 12th of Syawal... anyhow, here's my view on the subject ...
EID ul-FITR a.k.a HARI RAYA AIDILILFITRI
why is it celebrated...?
As the name goes... aidilFITRI is to celebrate us returning to Fitrah... FITRI=Fitrah...
you see, after a month of fasting, we return to our Fitrah....
let us look at a baby... innocent, tidak berdosa, suci right?... what were to happen to this baby if in the unfortunate event that he/she dies?... tidak lain tidak bukan syurga tempatnya... kerana tidak ada dosa padanya... inilah fitrah manusia, suci drpd dosa.... cuma kita apabila membesar, menzalimi diri sendiri dengan malakukan dosa... sebab itu kita dianjurkan ntuk sentiasa berdoa
'Rabbana Zolamna anfusana, wa illam taghfirlana wa tarhamna, lanakuna minal khasirin"
See what i'm trying to say here?... Nabi pun narrated in a very famous hadith about Ramadhan saying how the 1st third of Ramadhan is Rahmah, the 2nd Maghfirah, and the 3rd itqan minannar(kebebasan drpd api neraka)...
that's why we celebrate Hari Raya... diberi Rahmat, diampunkan dosa dan bebas drpd api neraka!, now that is something worth celebrating(within the syariah)...
Sepanjang bulan Ramadhan juga, kita dilatih menjalani kehidupan dalam penuh ketaatan... menjaga Puasa kita, menjaga mulut kita, menjaga mata kita, Rajin membaca Quran, banyak solat Sunat, mengikuti sunnah2 Nabi...... betapa baiknya kita pada bulan puasa.... yg kuat mencarut, tiba2 tak mencarut da...
"Awek doe... eh2, puasa2 tak baik tgk lama2"
"eh, puasa ni, tak baik mengumpat orang"
err.... time lain boleh ngumpat orang ke?... see what i mean... bulan Ramadhan coaches us into becoming the ideal muslim/muslimah...
Lastly, i hope myself especially, and all my Muslim Brothers and Sisters out there can maintain what they've acheived in Ramadhan

Salam...
Great news for me... i didn't actually fail my Pathology paper... I got a C+... there was mix up... meaning i won't have to repeat my paper and study in Holy Mekah... my parents were releived... kept going on about how i could have done much better... i coulcn't agree less... think of proving that in my 3rd Semester...
secondly, i think this will be my last post till i come back from umrah... hope it will have a significant effect in my life...
third, wanna wish all my brothers and sisters out there.. happy hunting for 'Qadr Night'
Lastly, the thought of M'sia and Indonesia going to war because of an advert, is just hillarious! (not the war part, the advert part)
Roger and out....

Salamalaykom brothers and sisters, hope you're all being nice to our VIP and guest, Ramdhan...
anyway, The results for the final year examination came out the other day... and to say i'm proud of my results would be a lie... but, praise be to Allah...
They say You learn a lot from succeeding, but a whole lot more from Failing...
in my case, literally... i scored a D for my pathology paper... sadly here, marks below 60 means a Fail... i admit it was big blow, nearly knocked the breath out of me, but life so far has taught me to accept fact... it really made me look back at my first year as 1st Year Medical Student... bnyk sebenarnya berlaku lelehan waktu, bnyk sangat... betul la Firman Allah "Demi Masa, sesungguhnya manusia kerugian"
i consider it as a wake up call from Allah saying;
"Anas! kamu tu nak jadi doctor, bukannya bermain dengan nombor, bermain dgn nyawa patient! bukannya boleh main2"
before this, i didn't know what it felt like for those who failed, now I do... It's ok though, failing just means that Allah hasn't forsaken us,
If he had(forsaken us), he would let us be as we are, even if we didn't study, he'd let us still pass, THAT'S when god's forsaken you, it's call 'istidraj' most of you are probably familiar with the term...
I mean just think of it, our Prophet, The Messenger of Allah, MUHAMMAD PBUH... was confronted with a truckload of obstacles, revolt, harrassment etc... can we say that Allah didn't love Him for putting him through all that?.. NO, in fact MUHAMMAD PBUH was even called 'habibUllah', Kekasih Allah...
The Pharoah on the other hand, was given wealth, power, followers and a vast Kingdom... Is that a sign of God's love?... geez, look what happened to him... sorry, but I'll pass...
So, back to my post, iA tomorrow I'll be heading back to Cairo... ada kursus Umrah on the 5th... I'l be performing the Umrah from the 12th till the 28th... The repeat exams on the other hand starts on the 26th, thats where my current problem stands....
I've already sent an E-mail to Dr Abeer requesting that my Pathology Paper be rechecked (ceh, tadi kata boleh terima fact, ni tak puas hati pesal?) yela.. mana tau dapat C- pun cukup la... tak perlu la study kat Holy Mekah, boleh tumpu pada ibadat, it will also save me from paying the repeat paper exam fees (which is a LOT if you didn't know)...
and in the unfortunate case after rechecking, i still fail, i asked to put the Pathology paper on a leter date than the 29th in the timetable... well, let's pray for the best
owh ya, i haven't mentioned my results yet;
Anatomy A-
Pharmacology B
Physiology B
Histology B
Biochemistry B-
Microbiology C
Pathology D
yeah, agak teruk, just average...
To say that 'Sini susah nak score, 90+ baru dapat A' as an excuse... ada je yang score 6A, 4A...
Pointer is yet to be published...
xpe2, 2nd year ni masuk dgn gear yg tinggi, bukan gear 1.... yg kat m'sia dan terpaksa balik awal ke Mesir... yakin la ada hikmahnya.... be strong y'all, coz i know you are!
think that's all for now, sorry for making you guys read so much... And thanks for all the support..... really 'preciate it...

SOALANNYA:
Anbon... INDONESIA
Yala,Pattani... THAILAND
Gujerat... INDIA
Xinjang... CHINA
1) Apakah persamaan antara tempat2 di atas.... apa yang berlaku di setiap daripada tempat tersebut?
2) Mengapa Islam yang diperangi, dan bukannya agama-agama lain?
Jika tak tahu jawapannya, cari2lah... bnyak kan masa kita habiskan ntuk movie, game, novel, rehat2 dsb... luangkanlah masa sedikit utk mengambil tahu ttg saudara2 kita di tempat lain... sharings from you are much appreciated...
"man la yahtamma biamril mukmineen, falaisa minhum"
"Siapa yang tidak mengambil tahu tentang hal2 orang2 mukmin, mereka bukan dari kalangan mereka"

iA, post yg sgt santai utk light reading... about the holy Month of Ramadhan
Pernah tak tengok filem that you really, really enjoyed?... kat cinema ke, laptop ke...
Then you'll know just how difficult it is to tell your friends about the film in a way that'll make it sound exciting... Citer la camana pun, lakonkan balik babak dia macamana pun, citer la pasal special effects dia, actor dia yg cun2 dan kacak2, lakonan yg 'terbaik... masih tak dapat membuat si pendengar 'experience' filem tadi sepertimana kita tgk tadi...
Talking about Ramadhan is a bit like this. To the casual observer, it is a month which Muslims give up food and drinks during the daylight hours. 'It must be awful' they think... how wrong they are..
No words can adequately convey the joy a muslim feels in Ramadhan... It is the month that they have look forward to all year round...
Cuba bayangkan,
Anda dah ada rumah sendiri, berkeluarga mungkin... dan your Mother da setahun tak tinggal bersama awak... Imagine the last time she came to stay, she managed to make a few quiet remarks about the cleanliness of your home, so that even though it was really very clean, it made you feel as though you were living in a shameful place...
So, kali ini, anda bersungguh2 making the house look good, lantai divacum dan dimop, tingkap dicuci, langsir dicuci, tandas digosok. Not just a spring clean, but a thorough renewal of the house to prepare for your mother's arrival.
Here, the comparison ends, for Ramadhan is about preparing oneself not just for the visit of a family member, dearly loved and cherished as she might be, but for standing clean and upright in the presence of God, Himself. In Ramadhan, the Muslim tries to put his spiritual house in order tightening up all those things he had promised to do last year, making extra efforts to be a good Muslim. Let us remind ourselves that Islam means living everyday in the presence of ALLAH. so Ramadhan helps the Muslim to get back to how he would like to be, not to mention how he should be. They very desire to be better, which Ramadhan encourages, helps the Muslim to be better. His fasting focuses his mind throughout the day on why he is fasting. The months fast is not to lose weight nor to punish himself, but is done for the sake of Allah, and Allah alone. Allah has commanded the fast. And the Muslim responds promptly to the command.
berkait dengan comparison di atas tentang rumah tadi, pasti kita berasa bangga, gembira apabila Ibu kita comment tentang kebersihan rumah kita dan ketiadaan sebarang cacat cela... Far greater is the joy of a Muslim, knowing that the promise of a Ramadhan well kept is the forgiveness of one's sins, and Salvation from the Hellfire
coming to think of it, Indahnya Islam ini... Ramadhan diberikan setahun sekali, utk kita mendekatkan diri kepada Allah, muhasabah kembali hakikat kejadian kita, dan mengabdikan diri kepadanya... but actually Allah ada je beri sesuatu seumpana Ramadhan kepada kita mingguan dan Harian.... namely solat Jumaat weekly, dan Solat Fardhu daily...
so?... my intelligent readers, bolehla fikirkan hikmah di sebaliknya... anyone care to share a thought or two in the comments?
Lastly, Kalendar Hijrah, juga dikenali dengan kalendar Qamariyah (moon) adalah berdasarkan cycles of the moon dan bukannya movements of the sun... Meaning that, jumlah hari dalam kalendar hijriyah kurang beberapa hari daripada Gregorian calendar... Tahunnya slightly shorter.... Jadi?....
Jadi, kalo katakan Ramadhan tahun ini jatuh pada late December, the next year, akan jatuh pada mid-December and the following year in late November and so on... Cantik kan?... Maksudnya, that over the years, Ramadhan will be distributed fairly across the world, spreading the fast over the seasons of the diferent hemispheres.
Example, Ramadhan may one year be in the blistering August heat od Saudi Arabia, when the daylight hours stretch from early in the morning to late at night, Australia, Antartica, Sahara or Alaska will experience Ramadhan in their summer or winter according to when Ramadhan falls that year. Allah does not place an extra burden on believers because of where they happen to live. The severity or relative ease of the fast is distributed fairly across the globe. And this is only right, say muslims. Islam is the natural religion of mankind, Agama Fitrah. it knows no boundaries of time or place. Allah's Mercy is availabe to all who seek it

Orthopedic surgery is the best of all specialties. As an orthopedic surgeon or "bone doctor", there will exist no injury too minor for you to perform general surgery on it. But the real reward will come when you are able to see your patients walking again on their own two feet (i.e. after two years of physical therapy).
