would just like to make a quick update that i have, at 12.30 pm, on the 11th/2/11, arrived safetly in malaysia... you guys probably know the whole story of what's going on in egypt from the news, so i'm not gonna talk about that here... but in alexandria the situation 's not as critical as in cairo... the concern in alex isn't the riots themselves, it's the theives, thugs, excaped prisoners and gangsters that are left unchecked in the absence of the police... the confiscation of firearms from the burnt down police stations by civilians doesn't help the situation either... already many armed robberies, muggings and thefts have happened... curfews had to be implemented from 1pm to 8 am! ...
so yeah, our studies at alexandria university have been put on hold until the situation 'resides'... (not sure when that will be)...
still not sure for how long the holidays will be though... anyhow, gonna make the best of it... it's not always you get a free ticket back to malaysia after studying abroad...
in short,
from alexandria, we had to wait for around 15+ hours before we took an airforce (TUDM) plane (charlie) to jeddah... 200 students crammed into it... to the extent that if a leaf were to fall, it wouldn't reach the ground... and we had to endure it for 3 hours before we got to jeddah... i had another to ebdure, i was seated beside the toilet... not much more needs to be said there
at jeddah, we had to wait another 10 hours before the bus took us to the 'tabung haji' complex, about 45 minutes away from the airport... there we stayed for another 5 days... until finally we got tickets to malaysia... my flight was saudi arabian airlines...
pretty tired by now, so i'm keeping this post short... feeling?, not sure what i'm feeling, it's a mix of both +ve and -ve ones...

i was waiting 4 ure updtes. Alhamdulillah u mnged to arrived safely here. yeah, it is tiring n maybe frustrating having to wait for long hours. but, it's a lifetime xprience that ve many values within it.

nas, we arrived at jeddah at 2:45pm then the bus came around 1am the next day..
arrived in tbung haji hostel one hour after that..
