...BOILED EGG...
You just learnt the art of making the most perfect Boiled Egg...
'boiling it for exactly 15 minutes'
but...
your clock ran out of battery,
you left your watch at sleepover,
and your phone got stolen (poor you..)
all you have are two sand-clocksa 7-minute one,
and another 11-minute one...
how can you use them both
to boil your egg for exactly 15 minutes?

looks like i'm the first to take a shot..
before boiling the egg, turn both sand clocks at the same time. After the 7 minute sandclock has finished, start boiling immediately. At that time the 11 minute sandclock should have another 4 minutes left. After it has stopped, turn it over to get another 11 minutes..4+11=15 walla!
You're good!... your answer's correct... but there's another way... anyone?!
p/s... if Ammar made a blog, i bet y'guys it'd be cool.... hehe...
start both...then when the 7-minute sandclock ends, the 11-minute sandclock should have 4 minutes left, then start again 7-minute sandclock immediately, when the 11-minute sandclock ends, turn the 7-minute sandclock...and u'll get 15 minutes...7+4+4=15
btol ke?
